This is a test run for my first blog post. If I were the Cavs GM, I'm not sure how I'd feel about Mike Brown's decision not to say anything about the refs after game 2. Seems like most of the great coaches in the league who know how to win titles also know how to manipulate the refs into getting the calls they need over the course of a series. High road be damned.
At the same time, comparing last year's finals with this Cavs-Piston series, begs the question, what is going on with the refs in the NBA? I thought I understood this issue. Sure there are fewer foul calls in the playoffs, but big stars driving to the basket in big playoff series will get all the calls. Dwayne Wade certainly did last year. Why doesn't LeBron? Was last years final just a case of league bias against Mark Cuban? Is this series not prime-time enough? Does David Stern have something against LeBron? I just don't get it.
